Avoca Women Luxury Merino Bodywear is made from the highest quality 100% extrafine merino wool (under 21 micron). Fibre diameter is measured in microns (1 micron = one millionth of a meter). When the average fibre diameter is less than 21 microns it will not prickle (like traditional wool) when worn next to the skin. The fine lightweight merino fibres are soft next to your skin, trap air to reduce heat loss and each fibre breathes to prevent overheating unlike synthetics.
Avoca Women Luxury Merino Bodywear keeps you warm in the cold and cool when hot. It can retain as much as 30% of its own weight of water without feeling damp and resists the build up of odours. Tiny scales lock together making it a tough, resilient, flexible material. Our Bodywear is natural, renewable, recyclable, biodegradable and naturally flame retardant. Its natural resilience means wrinkles fall out fast, it won’t static cling and resists soiling.

Use wool detergent, warm or cool machine wash inside out on short gentle cycle (wool cycle), warm rise, normal spin dry, do not dry clean do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not rub, dry in shade, warm iron. Merinosilk is naturally flame retardant. Its natural resilience means wrinkles fall out fast, won’t static cling and resists soiling.
